These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the llm.kiwi API and services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

llm.kiwi provides API access to artificial intelligence models for text generation, image creation, and audio transcription. We act as an interface to various AI providers and our own optimized routing infrastructure.

2. Account Requirements

To use llm.kiwi, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the security of your API keys
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

3. API Key Security

You are responsible for all activity under your API keys. Treat keys as confidential credentials.

• Never expose keys in client-side code
• Rotate keys regularly
• Use environment variables for storage
• Revoke compromised keys immediately

4. Subscription Tiers

Tier	Description
Free	Limited free access for development
Pro	Full access with higher limits
Enterprise	Custom terms and SLAs

Billing terms:

• Pro subscriptions billed monthly or annually
• No refunds for partial months
• Overages billed at published rates
• Plan changes effective immediately

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You may use llm.kiwi for:

• Application development and integration
• Research and educational purposes
• Commercial products (paid tiers)

You may not:

• Generate illegal content
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or security
• Resell API access without authorization
• Use for surveillance or rights violations
• Generate misleading content (deepfakes, impersonation)
• Violate intellectual property rights

6. Fair Usage Policy

To ensure service quality for all users:

• Free tier: Development and testing only
• Automated scraping: Requires prior approval
• Excessive requests: May be throttled
• Abuse: Results in suspension or termination

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process content for service delivery.

Our Services

llm.kiwi, our logos, and documentation are our property. You may use our brand only as permitted.

Model Outputs

Generated content belongs to you, subject to the underlying AI provider terms.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows are announced when possible.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Terms violations
• Abuse or fraud
• Non-payment
• Legal requirements

Upon termination:

• API access revoked immediately
• Account data deleted within 30 days
• Outstanding balances remain due

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Services provided “AS IS”
• No warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect damages
• Total liability limited to fees paid in past 12 months

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify llm.kiwi against claims arising from:

• Your use of services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your content
• Your applications

12. Dispute Resolution

• Governing law: European Union
• Informal resolution first (30 days)
• Arbitration for unresolved disputes
• Small claims court available

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms with notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
